Positive: The price made it a good value, and the friendly owner came to personally show us how to work the door lock (the door must be closed and magnets must make contact and the handle must be lifted). The renovated kitchen was nice, and the in-kitchen clothes washing machine came in handy. There was lots of sunshine to keep things bright during the day, and it was quiet and peaceful at night.
Negative: This is a decent property, but by no means an excellent one. First off, the building has no elevator, so you'll have to schlep your luggage up two flights of curved stairs. Next, "free parking" means any spot you might find in the small lot in front of the building. The apartment lacks the added comfort of its own garage or assigned spot though, in fairness, it was not an issue for us. Lastly, there are radiators in the living room and the bathroom, but not in either bedroom. It was chilly when we were there, and there were no extra blankets beyond the one in each bed. And the mattresses were bargain basement and uncomfortable. It's and old apartment. Although clean, it shows some wear and tear.
