Positive: THE VIEW WAS OUTSTANDING. Definitely worth the steps and the climb to the top. We spent many an hour enjoying the views. And when we weren’t on the balcony we were exploring the streets of the Medina. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops and markets. Our accommodation was lovely with all the comfort you need and a delicious simple breakfast set out for us in our kitchen/dining area.
Negative: Be aware that this is a little confined and there are many steps to each level. But I feel this added to the charm For new traveler’s to Morocco be aware of charming young men who want to show you around. Set a price with them first (then maybe tip them at the end if you think it was worth it) Also be aware that they may want to take you to certain market sellers eg. Carpets, Spices or others. Be firm and learn the word for No. If you’re looking for a restaurant do your own research and don’t let them choose one for you (we did and it wasn’t a good experience and also expensive for what it was) Happy travels people 😁
