Positive: La Tica y La Gata was a lovely hotel- the room was big, clean and comfortable and the attached kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to cook a simple meal. Stella, the owner, had plenty of recommendations and was super accommodating with storing our luggage after we’d checked out. We’d definitely stay here again!
Negative: It’s a bit of walk into town- about 20 minutes. We didn’t mind it at all as it meant it was a peaceful stay away from the bustle of Puerto Viejo, but it might not suit everyone.
