Positive: Brilliant well equipped property. Loved how quiet the area was and how well equipped the kitchen was, everything we needed was available. Everything seemed new and clean. The bathroom was excellent, large shower and double sink. All nicely cleaned with good towels. Travel cot and high chair available if you have kids. There were some games and a decent TV with access to Netflix. Lovely terrace which we sadly didn’t get to use as it was raining. I would recommend. No noise at night and black shutters led to a great nights sleep.
Negative: I did not like that there was no mattress or pillow protectors. In my opinion these are essential and should be changed for each turnover for hygiene, particularly the pillow protectors. There is no rubbish collection at the property. The recycle/rubbish point isn’t far, but it does mean that you have to put all your rubbish in your car and drive it to the centre. Depending on what you’ve been eating this isn’t ideal!!! The key has to be collected from the next village - Wimereux, whilst this is less than a ten minute drive, you have to get parked, pay for the parking and collect the key from an agent. I don’t really see why there can’t be a key safe on site as the bottom door has a PIN code.
