La Rupina is a detached house with its own private garden and plunge pool and spectacular views across the Serchio valley. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished.
In your own private garden you have a plunge pool (4m x 2m x 1m) and barbecue or for something more natural, you can take the footpath down through our woods and try out the pools in our mountain stream.
The covered terrace comes with a dining table, comfortable seating and a hammock to just chill and relax and enjoy the view of the mountains. In front of the terrace are herbs for the guests to use along with any other vegetables that may be in season.
A perfect place for family and friends to enjoy the pleasures of rural Tuscany while being close to some of the best known tourist destinations in the world.
15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to a great pizza restaurant and local train station.
7 minutes by car to Castelnuovo di Garfagnana.
45 minutes to Lucca.

We have our own seperate house 75m away, which means we are on call for help or information, while being far enough away for you to have your privacy. There are no shared facilities between the two houses.

Both upstairs and downstairs toilets have unobstructed space to the side (1m) to enable a side transfer for wheelchair users.
All windows in the house have been made with reduced height handles, the windows in the bedrooms have mosquito nets and internal catches to hold the windows open at night and are fitted with blackout curtains that can be drawn over the windows, open or closed, allowing a cool nights sleep without the need for air conditioning.
Upper and lower gardens are joined by an external wheelchair accessible footpath with a gradient of 1:20.
All electrical sockets are located in a raised location throughout.
All hot water outlets have been set by thermostat to stop accidental burning.
