Annie and Daniel welcome you to this old post-war miner's house steeped in history (formerly linked to the Epinac mines) rehabilitated as a gîte, overlooking a magnificent preserved valley on the southern exposed hillside, on the very edge. of bocage. In a residential hamlet adjoining the picturesque peaceful small typical Morvandiau village of Cussy-en-Morvan nestled at an altitude of 478m, in a splendid unspoiled setting of nature and greenery, in the hollow of a gentle valley of the Haut Morvan, between vast bocage meadows of pastures, wooded hills, vast forests, ponds and rivers. Quiet and very peaceful. 6.5 km from the charming commercial town of Anost (all shops and services), with a chapel and a 12th century Romanesque church (housing the famous Recumbent Anost, a masterpiece of the 18th century), residence of many artists (visual artist, sculptor, writers, musicians). Pleasant enclosed garden with trees and flowers opening onto the surrounding countryside, furnished in a "natural" spirit, with a shaded and exposed terrace (not overlooked, out of sight).
