Positive: Great location (literally 5 mins to beach, which I reckon is pretty rare in la Jolla).. It was an apartment rather than hotel, giving more freedom over eating, etc. Good kitchen facilities. Better for our group of 3 than a hotel, which would have required 2 (expensive) rooms. Jacuzzi in a great outdoor space. Ceiling fans in all rooms.
Negative: Felt a bit gloomy at times. Could not open windows making it feel a bit stuffy, despite the ceiling fans. Second bathroom and shower were really small! Washing machine in 2nd bedroom was a bit weird. Creaky beds, but beds were ok comfort-wise
