Positive: House location was easy to find as the house actually directly shows up on Google maps (but the steep track road for the last 900 m wasn't ever made clear...) ! House grounds is a heaven of peace, with olive trees, sunset colors and plenty of space to explore. House is spacious, with three rooms made up on arrival and a dining space in the kitchen, with a beautiful stone facade, jacuzzi is very nice for an end of day relaxing time ! Siena (1h20), Arrezzo (45min) and Perugia (1h) are very easily reachable by car
Negative: Quality price ratio was very disproportionate, photos from the posting are not accurate to the state of the house, guest hospitality mindset to be improved *Overall state of house felt neglected and not made ready to welcome guests for the high price payed (Cleaningness was not on point and we had to do some cleaning ourselves to feel confortable, as we arrived to a dirty kitchen floor and even dirtier toilet in the only bathroom of the house, and to pet hairs on the nightstands, foot carpets and mainly directly on the sheets underneath the bed cover in the main bedroom + huge amounts of insects crunched wood powder on furniture and mainly on the bathroom right next to the sink + wide network of spider webs everywhere in the house from the entrance door to the opening door of the washing machine + terrace shade pergola ripped out on some parts, letting the sun onto the table in a week of 42°C, etc...) *Two things that made us feel not welcomed : - Knowing that the house is quite remote, there was absolutely no indication on anything, neither on how to maintain the house (where to find the washing machine, how to operate the jacuzzi, exterior lights, recycle bins...) nor on the "what to do" and where to find commodities in the area or even emergency contacts... - No communication, apart from an exchange on arrival time that resulted on a self arrival at 6pm as nobody was available, an answer to a list of questions about the house and a brief visit from the handyman (trying to repair the pergola and enlighten us on where was the chlorine for the jacuzzi), even time of departure was guessed from booking details on the site : we left the keys as we found them, not having had any other indication Overall didn't feel like a holiday week rental "ready to roll", but more like an overcharged "do-it yourself" experience.
