About 4 kilometres from Villefranche du Périgord, a long private access road leads you to this authentic square farmhouse, which is divided into two residential units. Upon arrival you will be immediately overwhelmed by the pleasant atmosphere and tranquillity that this place exhales. The estate consists of large grassy plains and woodland. From your own grounds you can make endless walks and discover nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Around the house are several trees and there is a vegetable garden with all kinds of herbs, vegetables and fruit that you can use. The spacious courtyard forms the central point; the entrances of both houses lead to this, as well as the shelter where several cars can be parked and the large barn. This includes a table tennis table and pool table and a bowling alley. Adjacent to the barn a romantic covered terrace has been created where you can quietly enjoy the wide view of the forest and the hills. At the back of the abri is the swimming pool (11,5 x 5,5 m) heated with solar panels. Half of the pool has a depth of 1 meter, the other half is 2 meters deep. A wooden fence around the pool ensures that children do not have direct access to it. The outdoor shower provides pleasant cooling. If you prefer the warmth, you can find it in the sauna next to the abri, in this room there are also several fitness machines. Both houses are connected in an L-shape. The original farmhouse has a cosy lounge with a sitting area around the large fireplace. An extension of this is a long wooden dining table which is part of the open kitchen. This is equipped with all modern conveniences, but the beautiful Falcon cooker with 5 gas burners and 3 ovens is worth a special mention. Three doors invite you to enter the terrace that stretches the entire length of the house. Here is a long wooden dining table under a wisteria-covered canopy. A lovely place to extensively enjoy your meals. You can even bake your own pizzas in the authentic bread oven. This oven is also perfect for preparing meat. A barbecue and plancha are also available. On the living level you will find two bedrooms, the first with a double bed. From this room you have access to the second bedroom with two single beds that can also be placed together. This room has a door to the outside. Both rooms have a private bathroom with shower and separate toilet. On the first floor, which can be reached by the wooden stairs in the kitchen, there are two more bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is furnished for 3 persons, with a double bed and a single bed. Furthermore there is a wooden cot (there are several cots available). The last bedroom in this living unit is the master bedroom with a double bed with mosquito net above it. Both rooms on this floor have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The later house of the farmhouse, also has its own living room with sitting area around a large fireplace. The wooden dining table can be extended and can seat at least 10 people. The open kitchen is separated from the sitting area by a sort of bar. Here too, the kitchen is well equipped. This house has its own terrace on the west side with various teak furniture, including a dining table with chairs. From here you overlook the extensive grounds with only the birds singing in the background. On the ground floor is the first bedroom with a double bed. This is a pleasantly bright room. There is a bathroom with shower. The toilet is separate. The other bedrooms are on the first floor, which you can reach via a wooden staircase in the kitchen. There is a triple room with a double and a single bed. The adjoining triple room has the same layout. Then there is a single room with a wooden bed and finally a double room. This floor has a bathroom with bath, double washbasin and toilet. We recommend this unique place, situated in the middle of nature.
