Positive: This place is bucket list material given the ancient 700 year old village in which it is located. Beautiful rennovation of the buildings and our 2 level suite was simply gorgeous. Perhaps the most comfortable, high quality mattress I have every experienced in any hotel ever!. Wonderful traditional 'bespoke' breakfast prepared by local ladies of the village and with personal introduction of the dishes served.
Negative: Given the age of the village when paths were designed for donkeys and not cars, it was somewhat challenging to find the reception building. My advise is pack a smaller overnight bag to walk from your car to your room.
