Centrally located in the heart of Poipu, Makahuena 2-301 offers resort amenities and beach access all within walking and short driving distance. Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis court, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the over-sized ocean view lanai overlooking the pool and explore the coastal walkways leading to resort amenities, Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Beach Park, The Grand Hyatt Resort, casual and fine dining , gourmet grocery stores and weekly farmers markets.

Summary: I highly recommend this rental. My family and I stayed 6 nights and it was the perfect place for us to come home too after long days of hikes, beach trips and sightseeing. Very clean, beautiful views, and very comfortable beds!! My husband and I agreed we would book this place again for our next trip to Kauai.
