Our comfy self contained classic Kiwi Cabin is perfect for families or couples wanting to 'get away from it all' and enjoy the relaxing West Coast lifestyle (you can even bring your dog!) The Cabin accommodation fee includes continental breakfast. Our property 'Koru' (meaning new beginnings in Te Reo Maori) is perfectly located just off State Highway 6 (ocean side) on one of the Top Ten drives in the world, as voted by Lonely Planet. If adventure tourism is not your thing, our Cabin is a cool place to just relax and chill out. Walk to the beach and check out the native birdlife on the historic gold dredge pond. Big tides mean long beach walks are possible and you can even gather fresh mussels at low tide. You may be lucky enough to pick up a piece of Pounamu (greenstone) on the beach! We offer an outdoor hot tub to soak in and a cozy log burner fire inside for the cooler nights. Kids can do many activities, for example try to catch an eel plus we have board games for them to play at night. Step into a relaxing lifestyle here where every day is a holiday. Special conditions: Pets allowed, But must sleep outside the Cabin. Outside smoking only. Free pick up/drop off service (from Greymouth or Punakaiki) available. Two mountain bikes plus our small gym and spa pool are complimentary for our guests to use.
