The gorgeous oceanfront paradise of Papakea expands over 13 acres of fish-filled lagoons, quaint bridges, beautiful lawns, and colorful tropical landscaping. The exquisite burl furniture in C107 adds elegance which is rare in a Maui condo. As you lie in your studio's luxuriously comfortable pillow-top king-sized bed in your ground floor unit, nestled beside a fish pond and sprinkling waterfall, the tall foliage makes you feel you are the only ones on the island. Yet you can relax on your lanai and still see the ocean beyond the beautiful swimming pool.
The kitchen and bathroom were both recently redone with new cabinets and granite and offer very special luxury appointments.
With gorgeous ocean beaches and beachfront restaurants only a short walk from your door, you may instead choose to play miniature golf on one of the two professionally landscaped putting greens, play on one of the two oceanfront shuffleboard courts, play tennis on the lighted court, snorkel and take pictures of colorful fish right off the beach, or take a dip in one of the two beautiful pools or hot tubs. Or you may want to take a free swimmercize, yoga, or lei-making class or make some new friends at the weekly Mai Tai party or putting tournament!
You can drive a couple of miles to a choice of championship golf courses - Kapalua or Kaanapali - or take a ferry to the island of Lanai for the Challenge of Manele. Your choice of water activities is endless. It's hard work having so much fun, so you may want to relax in one of Papakea's lawn chairs to enjoy the amazing sunset at the water's edge before making the difficult decision of which of the many first-class restaurants you will choose. Mama's Fish House, beyond the airport, is consistently named in the top 25 restaurants in the U.S. Make reservations far ahead!
At the end of the day, sink into your luxurious bed, (guest after guest claims it is the most comfortable they have every slept in), pull out the room copy of Maui Revealed and plan your next day in Paradise!
Before you make a reservation, please recognize that I book our units back-to-back where guests arrive in the afternoon of the morning other guests depart. If a guest chooses dates that are not back-to-back, then please leave a seven night space between bookings since that is what most people request. For example, please do not book 4 nights in the middle of 7 open nights or book just 2 of 3 open nights unless you ask me first. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING. There are certainly times where I will take a reservation with a small gap, but I would like to discuss this with you before you book. Our cleaners have asked us not to take reservations with arrivals or departures on New Year's Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When you make your reservation and pay your deposit, please include your cell number when asked for your phone.
There is a Facilities fee of $17 per night for the first ten nights that you will pay directly to the Front Desk on check-out which covers, at no additional cost, parking, wireless internet, putters available for the putting green, and the classes and events mentioned above.
I will provide a full refund up to 60 days prior to your arrival for any reason.
