The cottage enjoys a large enclosed lawned garden to the front and rear, and for those who like to start the day with a burst of activity, the Kilham Hill walking trail sits right on the doorstep where a bracing 3.5 mile loop leads to breathtaking views over the National Park before heading back for a hearty breakfast. Inside, the compact kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences, including washing and drying facilities, while a super selection of cook books may entice you to rustle-up one or two new recipes! There's a separate dining room with farmhouse style table and seating for four guests, and both rooms benefit from underfloor heating for a lovely warming touch. The sitting room has a large wood burner and buttery leather sofas from Laura Ashley when some relaxation time beckons, and the leaded window detailing adds a pretty cottage feel. The cottage benefits from two bright, sunny ground floor bedrooms - one with king size bed and one with twin beds, each presented in crisp linens and soft pastel shades. Bedroom one with 5’ king size bed, side tables, wardrobe with drawer below, dressing table. Bedroom two with 3’ twin beds, side table, chest of drawers, chair. Bathroom with large walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC. OUTSIDE The cottage has a front lawned garden and a large lawned rear garden which is enclosed by hedging and five bar fencing. Garden furniture is provided. Parents with young children should note that there is a small pond in the garden and supervision will be required. The adjacent old smithy building offers plenty of storage for bicycles and outdoor kit. PARKING There is parking for two cars to the front of the cottage. BABIES & CHILDREN A highchair, travel cot and child gate can be made available on request. It is important to note that there is a small shallow pond in the garden therefore younger children will require careful supervision. Please contact us should you require further information. DOGS One dog is permitted at a charge of £15. Dogs must be kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. Further dogs will be considered on request. GUEST AMENITIES The beds are made up with high quality 400 thread count bed linen. There is the option of feather or hypo-allergenic duvets on request. Pillows are hypo-allergenic.
