Come and experience the beauty of a newly refurbished 1949 Estes Park cabin with picturesque views of Longs Peak. There are several groupings of Ponderosa pines and many rock outcroppings located throughout the 1.86 acre property and lent to the name Kiefer cabin; translated Pine cabin. An enclosed courtyard with aspen trees surrounded by Ponderosa pine trees is available for your wildlife viewing. This cabin is located 2.3 miles west of downtown Estes Park, yet in a private space only a few minutes from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park located 1.8 miles to the northeast. A nearby seasonal Estes Park Free Shuttle for your convenience. There are beautiful exposed pine log beams in the living room with an inviting large moss rock fireplace. There are two comfortable couches and two oversized swivel recliners. The recliners are placed in front of a large picture window with views of Longs Peak and Giant Track mountain. Relax, enjoy a good book, or watch a show/movie on the flat screen TV with DVD/CD player. The Kiefer cabin is decorated with mountain furnishings including local wildlife and mountain pictures, bringing the beautiful outdoors inside. Kiefer cabin has a main floor bedroom with a pillow top queen-sized bed, dresser, and cedar closet. Eat-in kitchen with corner windows and courtyard view of aspens, Longs Peak and various rock outcroppings. There are many kitchen amenities provided for preparing your favorite meals! The bathroom has a full bath and is decorated with a pine cone decor. There is one full set of towels provided for each guest.
