Summary: When we entered the house, we first noticed how clean it looked and smelled. A to the cleaning crew! The canal view was great, we even had manatees visit us a few times. The accommodations were good, with a couple of exceptions. I will say that the host was spot on with regard to communication. So now the few things that were not quite up to par or as advertised. 1. The jacuzzi was not working. The hot tub sold me on picking this place. I had visions of the wife and I sitting in the hot tub, on the canal, a bottle of wine, the sunset; you get my point. The host said she was not aware it was broken. 2. The only light that worked in the guest bedroom was in the closet. I am a pretty smart person and I could not figure out how to turn on the fan light or the nightstand lights. Not a big deal but a deal none the less. Lastly, the pictures on the listing were not exactly what you got when you pulled in the driveway. The patio furniture looks new in the listing, its not new by any means. The driveway is overshadowed by a 31' center console boat sitting to the left of the drive. There was also a golf cart in the carport that prevented us from parking there. That does not sound like a big deal, but when you park a black car in the South Florida sun for a couple of hours, it gets very hot, and I do not like sweating in my driver's seat dressed up to go to dinner. With a few minor fixes, I would stay there again. The Host was very nice and responsive. Thanks E!
