The space
Our cottage is perfectly situated, only a 5-minute walk from Mount Victoria village, yet secluded enough to immerse you in the peaceful ambience of the surrounding trees. Step inside and discover three inviting bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for your comfort. The spacious loft bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and study desk, offering stunning views over the Kanimbla Valley, especially at sunset. The main bedroom features another queen-size bed, while the third bedroom is furnished with two single beds, ideal for families or groups of friends. With a beautiful bush view bathroom, you can luxuriate in an oversized bath, and with a second separate toilet, you'll have all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.
The sun-drenched living area beckons you to unwind, with its cathedral windows, soaring 5-metre ceilings, and a sliding door that opens to a private sunny back deck. Here, you can bask in the beauty of the bush views during the day and gaze at the twinkling stars at night. Being at tree canopy height provides a unique connection to nature, allowing you to observe friendly king parrots and rainbow lorikeets up close. After a day of exploring the nearby bushland or visiting historic sites, cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace on the plush couch and relax watching what you want on the smart TV. There is also gas heating, fans and electric blankets for your comfort in all seasons.
In our well-appointed kitchen, you'll wake up to the nespresso coffee machine and find everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Cook up a storm on the full stove/oven, store your groceries in the full-sized fridge, and make use of the kettle, toaster, microwave, and dishwasher. For those who love outdoor cooking, we have a Weber BBQ on the deck, offering you the choice of dining alfresco amidst nature's embrace.

Off-street parking is available, and you're welcome to explore and appreciate the beautiful surroundings surrounding the cottage.
Other things to note
Please note that Karinya is best suited for older children given the height of the deck, and is not suitable for pets. We kindly ask that small children be closely supervised (even though the deck does have a lockable gate).
To ensure the next guests' enjoyment, we request that you clean the BBQ after use. A cleaning fee of $100 will be deducted from your security deposit if the BBQ is not left in a tidy condition.
Winter is the most popular season in the mountains. Many people love fireplace and firewoods. We have prepared reasonable amount of firewoods for you to enjoy during the winter months from June to August. Based on our experience, the amount of firewoods should be sufficient to get you start for your stay. If you need more firewoods, you can easily buy them from the nearby petrol station. To protect our environment, please consume firewoods responsibly.
For Summer, we have split air-conditioning system in the living room area and ceiling fans. Each bed room has a fan.
