Unobstructed Ocean views, Waikawa Stream Estuary, Kapiti Island and on a clear day the South Island. Quiet & peaceful with Fantails and Tui birdsong, great beach and forest walks, upstream kayaking, (2 kayaks available on site), beach combing, sand castle building, kite flying, kite boarding, fishing, or white baiting. Waikawa Beach is a lovely ecclectic seaside village. 5mins down the road on SH1 is a well stocked grocery/ice cream store, fresh fruit and vege market and great coffee at The Quarter Acre Cafe and The Black Shed, a must for homewares lovers! Close by horse riding, golf and wine tasting at the Ohau winery. 15 mins south is Otaki for Outlet shopping and cafes...15mins north Levin for shopping, cafes, retro-secondhand stores, adventure playground, swimming pool, and cinema. Accommodation is just as important as location and we think you will find both to be 'awesome'. The Bach is sparkling clean and fresh, double glazed windows and bi-fold doors to the deck from an open plan living area (with cosy log burner) and master bedroom (wake up to a seaview in bed) fully equipped kitchen, dual oven,microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee maker. A well stocked pantry. Airconditioning/heatpump. New bathroom, shower, hairdryer, wall heater, fluffy towels, mirrored wall cabinet, first aid kit, and all bathroom essentials. Seperate laundry, washing machine, dryer, iron and all cleaning items. Comfy beds, fresh new linen, feather/down and woolrest pillows, cosy duvets, throws and electric blankets for colder nights. Kayaks, Tennis ,Badminton, Volleyball, Swingball and Soccer equipment, kites, board games, toys, magazines, books, dvd's, cd's, Bose radio with iPod/iPhone connector, Telescope, Freeview TV and DVD viewing in living area and both bedrooms. Beach umbrella and buckets and spades for fun at the beach, and a fabulous new outdoor bath. You can even toast some marshmallows (stocked in the pantry) while sitting around the outdoor chiminea!
