We had a wonderful time and the accommodation at Kaha Lodge was phenomenal! said a guest who stayed at KAHA LODGE Set in a beautiful secluded corner of the Central Plateau, KAHA LODGE is a very popular rendezvous for corporates family and friends for ski holidays,conferences and training seminars.The walls are lined with interesting memorabilia from the owner's days of hosting famous musicians and operating Ohakune's Hot Lava Nightclub.With 6 bedrooms in the lodge and two in the separate sleepout the lodge sleeps 20 people. it has 2 showers three toilets. the Lodge beds have linen, duvets, pillows provided, Sky TV, a pool table, dry firewood, secure off street parking, an extensive library, toys for the kids, and a warm comfortable atmosphere.The large fully equipped kitchen, with double fan oven, walk in pantry, dishwasher,and distinctive Matai native wood benchtops, is perfect for entertaining large groups of friends. KAHA LODGE is set in 3 acres next to a large native bush Reserve full of Kiwi, the rare Kaka parrot,Tui, Bellbirds,and the native Pukeko. The Lodge has expansive uninterrupted views of Mt Ruapehu and is 5 minutes drive to the " Turoa Skifield " mountain road entrance.
