Summary: This hotel is NOT a 5 star what so ever, we always try to stay 5 star where possible and wanted a quick flight from Newquay to Portugal to save our usual Bristol trek, this however backfired with a very average stay at this hotel, the gym was poorly equipped with no air con making it impossible to work out at any time of the day, the food was the same every single day all barring a change in meat every other day, the room rarely got cleaned and the standard of the room cleaning was pretty bad at best, most of the staff were pleasant and friendly but some were very miserable and didn’t appear to want to be there, and to top it off we got food poisoning along with others on the last 2 days, sad to say not the best hols we ever had but the marina and old town we loved so may come back but to a different hotel.
