Positive: The ambience, assuming it was well-kept. It's quiet but very near sari-sari stores and neighbors. You dont feel isolated yet there's privacy. Big space with plenty of room for little huddles, a patio, kitchen and cooking equipment, huge dining table. Owner can add a bottom panel to the gate so cats and dogs wont freely enter. Not so cold and not so warm when we were there.
Negative: The owner failed to inform the caretaker that the property has a reservation. It was locked and dirty when we arrived. Since we had nowhere else to go, the caretaker asked to give her at least 1 hour to give the place basic cleaning. The place became livable, but we missed seeing what it would have looked like if it had been properly cleaned and maintained. The house was deteriorating and the grass was overgrown. It looked like no one has lived there for a long time. No TV and caretaker forgot the wifi password. The place has potential; the owner should consider having it renovated and maintained regularly, with or without a guest.
