This vacation home is located in Lake Lure. Mountain Gateway Museum and Old Fort Railroad Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Canopy Ridge Farm and Lake Lure Beach and Water Park. Chimney Rock Adventure Golf and Chimney Rock Gemstone Mine are also worth visiting. Beautifully decorated log home on cul-de-sac, private, but still close to all activities. There is plenty of room for the family or golfers. Features include internet access, free long distance telephone, views off the full-length deck of the wooded mountain valley, and a beautiful stone gas fireplace in the Great Room on the main floor. The adjoining kitchen and dining room also open to the large wrap-around deck. The main floor Master bedroom has a King sized bed. This home also comes with a washer/dryer.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a Bunk bed and two Twin beds, plus a den area with a TV. The downstairs level is L-shaped with a living room with a Queen futon and TV on one end AND a game room with a TV, arcade video game, two foosball tables, and workout area with exercise equipment. There are two bonus sleeping areas, one with a Twin/Full bunk bed and one with a Queen bed for afternoon naps. A bathroom and laundry room is also on this level. Jo Beth provides a great place for a family vacation with all the comforts of home.
CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS. Requests must be in writing and received by a Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure rental agent. In the event Tenant must cancel this reservation more than 45 day prior to arrival, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of $50.00. Cancellations that occur within 45 to 15 days prior to arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total reservation charges. Cancellations which occur within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to the amount of the reservation. NO refunds will be given for early departures or unused portions of packages.
HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES: There is a one-two day starter supply of items such as coffee packets, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent (where appropriate), shampoo, and soap that has been supplied for your vacation rental. All towels, sheets, and linens are provided for the allowed occupancy number of each unit. There is no housekeeping service provided during your stay. If you run out of any starter supplies, you many purchase these at Apple Valley Market or Ingles Grocery.
