Positive: Komodo Island met our expectations. The accommodation was simple but spacious. Meals are provided, everything was very tasty. Interestingly, we were the only tourists in the village, so we attracted some attention. People were kind and friendly, with lots of children everywhere. As for the Komodo dragons, we were lucky and saw a total of four. It's currently mating season, so it's not unusual for some tourists to come and not see any at all. On the second day, we went on a trip with several stops—all of them worth it. First was Padar Island—there's a beautiful view from the top of the trail above the bay, although there were quite a few tourists. Then we went snorkeling at Pink Beach, Manta Point, and Taka Makassar. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any manta rays, but we were lucky to spot a stingray hidden in the sand, some turtles, and a young blacktip reef shark. Otherwise, the underwater life was beautiful and colorful. We really enjoyed it and will remember it fondly. Thank you very much for everything—we definitely recommend it!
