Jarramali Daintree Rainforest Retreat is a two storey architect designed home made of high quality timber and craftsmanship which is designed to capture the sea breeze to refresh you as you sit or lie in a hammock on the deck and enjoy the stunning panorama of mountains, Coral Sea and unspoiled valleys of rainforest. These views can also be enjoyed from every room. Due to the perfect position of the house you are able to receive good mobile phone and internet reception on the Telstra and Optus networks. It features large decking on both floors with BBQ on upper deck and outdoor bath tub on lower deck. It is fully furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen with large fridge and pantry and 4 burner stove. There is a queen size bed plus a double sofa bed and bathroom on each floor, flat screen TV and DVD player. There are ceiling fans throughout including upper deck area. The house has flyscreens on all doors and windows. We supply beach towels as well as bath towels, car fridge and picnic ware. Jarramali has a sophisticated solar energy system that allows the house to function fully 24 hours a day on this clean, renewable and silent energy source. It also has a diesel generator which automatically provides additional power in case there is a need for it. Guests have the exclusive use of the lush tropical gardens that surround the house. The Jarramali Gardens extend for over an acre. Traversed by approximately 400 metres of garden paths, they are home to about 90 different species of tropical plants and fruit trees. Guests are welcome to eat any of the fruit in season. Plants have been carefully selected to attract birds and butterflies such as the Sunbird, Birdwing and Ulysses.
