we love this because..
JACK STREET is tucked away at the end of St Andrews Beach and is a wonderfully quiet beach house where we find seclusion with marvellous vistas of the surrounding golf course and glimpses of Cape Schanck.
Upstairs is our favourite spot in winter curled up in front of the fire and in summer reading on the deck and entertaining with friends and family. Our children are always entertained in their own space with table tennis competitions and a place to lounge with friends.
We walk the short distance to the St Andrews Ocean Beach and take in its sweeping views along the rugged coast. Its a place where we surrender to the busyness of life and just find that space to relax.
Even with the dramatic roaring ocean, there is a stillness to this area that really recharges your batteries. Walkthrough the curving sand dunes in either direction and watch the ocean crash along the beach.
After exercise we soak in the wooden Japanese style hot tub under the stars!
For dinner or lunch, we head to St Andrew's Beach Brewery and its busy vibe. Book one of the old horse stables for your group and try a paddle of beer. For coffee, we head to Hunter Cafe and Store in the small set of shops at Dundas Street an hours walk if we are feeling energetic or a 10-minute drive.

What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside.
I'm only a little chap so I can wander around in the courtyard safely but big WOOFERS would be able to climb the low fenced embankments but they can always sleep on the upper deck.
And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Summary: Staying at this property was a delight. You felt the holiday vibe from the moment you arrived with St Andrews beach around the corner. At certain times of the day there was a rock shelter which created a swimming pool suitable for young children. The property was well equiped. It had a large balcony with beautiful views. The front of the property is not fenced so beware with kids and dogs as there is no outdoor play space. There is a small courtyard out the back.
