Welcome to your dream vacation in Paradise where our goal is to offer guests first class accommodation. Isla Mujeres is a place like no other and Ixchel Condominiums are at the best location on the Island. Located directly on Playa Norte (Trip Advisory Top 10 Beach) and a half block to downtown which offers shopping as well as an abundance of bars and restaurants.
Ixchel 703 is the only two bedroom, two bathroom penthouse in Phase 2 of the Ixchel Beach Hotel. It offers a large balcony with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The air conditioned two bedroom suite has wi-fi and includes a furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and dining area. The living room has cable with a flat screen TV, DVD player, and large balcony.
The large master bedroom has king size bed with access to the balcony. The bedroom has a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, telephone, alarm clock, electronic safe, and its own bathroom.
The second bedroom has a king size bed that offers breathtaking views and direct access to the balcony. The bedroom has a flat screen TV with cable, electronic safe, and its own stylish bathroom.
Please note:
1. This penthouse is in phase 2 and does not have the rooftop lounge area or hot tub.
2. The condo will only has two king size beds.

Summary: The penthouse condo at Isla Beach Hotel was perfect. It had basic items needed for cooking for 4 adults. Appliances were perfect including a countertop ice maker which was very handy and very fast. Condo has a beautiful view of the water which is spectacular. Google maps makes the hotel look large compared to the other properties nearyby. However, it has the feel of a boutique hotel. The pool and beach are 5 min from the elevator. Excellent restaurants, groceries, bars and shopping are within a few blocks of walking. From the IBH beach you can walk to the other side of the island where the ferry piers are located. There were plenty of lounge chairs on the beach and the hotel pool is nice and well maintained. The hotel restaurant, Kartel (I think), serves the pool and the guests on the beach. Wait staff was extremely friendly and the food arrived quickly. I can't say enough about the hotel staff. When we requested towels and refill water bottles they were delivered promptly. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with taxis, translations, recommendations, etc. We typically avoid hotels on vacations but the staff at IBH was outstanding. Randy is a great host. He shared additional information about Isla restaurants and useful information about the logistics of getting to the hotel. I recommend Randy's condo and I would return again to stay there.
