Summary: First off, the owner was very responsive and wanted to make sure everything was good with the stay. Communication was very quick. There are a few things I would have liked to have had a better grasp on before I went though. First, the staircase to the upper level is fairly narrow and steep. I had no trouble getting up there, but if you have any difficulties with your back or knees, this could be an issue. Secondly, the listing says "family areas" which means they are shared with other renters. The upper floor appeared to have 3 bedrooms. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom are all shared spaces with anyone else who is renting one of the other bedrooms. This was not as clear as it could have been on the listing. There was apparently someone else in one of the other bedrooms, but I never did encounter them. I never had to wait for the bathroom, and there was no noise from them whatsoever. Everything was very clean though. The bed was very comfortable. There is no AC, but there is a fan in the room that provided good air movement and kept me cool enough. The fan is on the louder side, but that was not an issue for me. And I tested whether the sound traveled much outside the bedroom, which it did not. All in all, it was a good stay. I would have liked to have been better prepared, and a more accurate description and more pictures would have given me more to go on to make my decision easier. Great host though. No issues there at all.
