The cottage is 25 minutes and a scenic drive to Downtown Sydney. This sweet yellow cottage is on the Bras d'Or Lakes in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality located in Islandview, on the Northside of East Bay, this property is on 1.5 acres with 360 feet of waterfront overlooking and sheltered by the MacPhee Islands. Relax on one of two south facing decks and enjoy the peace of early sunrises or watch the Bald Eagles and ducks in nature. The Bras d'Or Lakes are the largest salt water lakes in the world also known as an inland sea and are part of a World UNESCO Biosphere.
This two bedroom one bathroom cottage will accommodate 4 comfortably in two bedrooms with a queen bed in each bedroom. The cottage is bright and cheery with a well equipped kitchen. All new dishes, appliances (including washer/dryer) and comfy furniture. Please note: There is no dishwasher, it's all you but the view is fantastic from the sink! The views from the kitchen and living room are breathtaking and you can simply spend hours gazing out at the water. You will also find a small sitting room down stairs if you need to read quietly or for early morning risers. The little sitting room can also double as a play space for children.
There are two kayaks with life jackets for those adventurous souls or bird watchers. Just 5 minutes away, on the Eskasoni Reserve you will find a full grocery store/liquor store and Goat Island trails for daily walks. There is a large wrap around deck with a fun spot to eat outside and an awning in case it's too hot in the sun or a sun-shower occurs. Enjoy a glass of wine on the upper deck or have your early morning coffee on the lower deck near the water. The lower deck is next to the waters edge and you will find this sitting area perfect to keep an eye on little swimmers or to just simply enjoy the sunshine and views.

You can also feel free to bring your own food as they only have some snack items but often people bring food to have with their beverage.
