Island Time is the name of our rental Bungalow and Island Time Zone Begins Here is the first sign you see when crossing the bridge entering this quaint Historic Fishing Island Village. Entering the Island Time Zone sets you back in suspended time and brings you to a level of relaxation you have never experienced. Matlacha is known as a beautiful island which was originally a fishing village. The main street consists of old fishing houses that have been converted into restaurants and local artist galleries. Island Time is conveniently located within a short walk to all of these shops, restaurants and ice cream shop. Matlacha is also known for the best Snook, Redfish, Sea Trout, Tarpon and many more. Fish in our backyard from the dock, fish from the boat we provide, fish from the local Matlacha Park fishing pier or fish from the Matlacha bridge, known as the fishingest bridge in the world. We are located within a short drive to beaches and theme parks in Tampa and Orlando. Updated and Fully furnished, sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and a futon in the Florida Room in which one additional person could sleep. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, cable, wifi, lounging and dining area in the backyard. Boat shown in the photo is not included with the rental, this is the property owners boat.
