Positive: The gameroom was fun. Having 4 bedrooms, which gave all of my grown kids their own space at night, was great. The master bedroom was comfortable & fireplace added a nice touch. We were excited about the pool, hot tub, & sauna. The owner was communicative & accommodating when I asked about a crock pot being needed for the week. I ended up finding one in the house, but they were going to purchase one if I hadn't. There is a pretty mountain view from the living room & from the master bedroom. The proximity to Garden of the Gods is fantastic!
Negative: Rat or roach droppings were in the drawers in the kitchen and on dishes, so we had to wash everything before using it & clean the spaces we were going to use (zoom in on photos).Things weren't organized in a way that made them easy to find, despite labels being everywhere. Mildew/mold in master shower. Pool & hot tub water made us itchy & the baby got a rash from the pool, so I'm not sure what was going on there, but it was mostly unusable. While this has the potential to be amazing, the lack of cleanliness and the cost of renting it unfortunately make it hard to say I'd stay here again.
