Fantastic ski-in, ski-out chalet in Verbier. La Bergere (Shepherd’s Hut) is a very attractive and individual old chalet (45m2) facing south west with a wonderful view over the village into the valley. This is a really unique place for a holiday - a great escape. The chalet is surrounded by garden which is a great place for tobogganing, there’s a sun terrace which is great for lunch or evening drinks. The views are spectacular and the chalet occupies a wonderful position above Verbier. The space La Bergère is situated in a quiet area off the rue des Esserts near the Rouge ski run. There is a small living room, with sitting area with sofa and cable TV, a dining table, chairs and an open plan kitchen with wood burning stove. There are two bedrooms each with 2 beds, (one can be a double), bathroom with bath and shower head, basin and wc, plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen, bedrooms and living room and all very well equipped. There is a cooker with 4 hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and sink, a cellar for storing wood and skis etc., terrace with outdoor chairs and the benefit of one designated covered parking space in a garage. The area is quiet and the rouge lift is approx. 350m away. There is a grocery around 300m and bus stops either above or below the chalet. Skiing from the Rouge will link you into the main ski area or you can walk to Savoleyres. There are free buses running all day to take you to the main lift station at Medran. In the evening I tend to walk down the Rouge piste into town: it’s a lovely walk with great views, and takes about 15/20 minutes to walk into town, and 25 minutes to walk back up. Good snow shoes required! Amenities: Towels, sheets, soap and loo paper, indoor woodburner, individual electric heaters for each room, hot water, TV, Wireless Internet, Ski store. The underground car parking space is a short walk up some steps out of the garage, and through the garden to the chalet.
