[Please see COVID19 related information in the Owner's Note below] This nicely appointed and pristine cabin sits on the corner of First Street and Crab Avenue in Netarts and features one of the most spectacular and up-close views of Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean to be found in the area. With its kitchenette, comfortable living room complete with high speed internet and HD TV, comfortable beds, and breath-taking views out the two large picture windows - the indoors can be as inviting as the outdoors! If being outdoors is your happy place you can soak up the sun and salt air in Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay and ocean. End the day by taking in the sunset in one of the most popular viewing spots in this area or taking an evening beach stroll. Others travel here to watch the sunset, you will have a front row seat from the comfort of the front lawn. The Salt Run Cabin offers an awesome getaway location for 2 adults. If you are up for adventure, it's hard to know where to start! Short trips on scenic roads will take you to Cape Meares, Cape Lookout, or Cape Kiwanda, all of which offer excellent day trips. You may want to go for a hike in Cape Lookout State Park, try crabbing or clamming, kayak in the bay, step outside for some bird watching or walk the beach in search of beach glass and agates. Beach access is readily available from both ends of First Street. For meals you may grill on the deck, cook in the kitchenette (assuming you provide cookware/utensils), take a beach hike north to Oceanside and sample local eateries, take a beach hike south and eat at the Schooner, or hop in your car and drive a short distance to the Upstairs Bar and Grill. Summer isn't the only fun time of year at the Salt Run Cabin, visit in the fall or winter to take in the power of the Pacific Ocean through the large picture windows, while snug and warm in front of the fireplace. The Salt Run Cabin has stood strong through coastal storms since the early 1930s, it's quiet and protective strength in the harshest of weather most evident during a storm. It's the perfect setting for a warm toddy or hot chocolate while waiting for the storm to pass before heading down to the beach to see what gifts have been revealed by the wind and tides! Come and enjoy any season! Owner's Note: To balance the best guest experience and enhanced COVID19 cleaning practices some modifications to The Cabin will be place until further notice. Please note the following COVID19 pandemic associated changes: - Cleaning: Enhanced cleaning/sanitizing practices that meet or exceed CDC requirements for lodging facilities are practiced. A minimum of 48 hours of open time will be maintained between guest visits. - Linens and Bed Pillows: Guests must either provide their own pillows or purchase new pillows from the owner. Purchased pillows must be removed from the property by the guests at the end of stay. High quality white bed sheets and bath towels that can be laundered at high temperatures will be provided; if additional linens, blankets, or towels are desired, guests should plan to provide them. - Kitchen Furnishings: A limited supply of disposable plates, cups and eating utensils will be supplied. Guests may of course bring their own cooking items needed to prepare meals in the kitchenette or on the provided outdoor grill. - Pantry Items: We are not able to maintain pantry stocks at this time. Please bring the food items that you will require. Tillamook, Netarts, and Oceanside are small communities with limited resources. We encourage our guests to be respectful of this and to the extent possible make your purchases in larger communities and bring them with you for your visit. ****
