It offers 350 m2 of living space distributed over 3 floors and designed in a minimal, functional and very comfortable style, plus a fantastic 8.5m x 4.5m private swimming pool. The farmhouse has been restored using traditional materials including original stone flooring, teak windows and doors and white-washed walls. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and good quality and all modern conveniences are included. Recently repainted in 2019, Villa Balzar has a bright and airy feel with open plan areas and individual lounges. The swimming pool is complimented by a large and sunny terrace and there are several private patios on which to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We highly recommend Villa Balzar for large groups or multiple families holidaying together, or for those looking for a more traditional and rustic holiday experience. ACCOMMODATION Villa Balzar can sleep up to 12/14 guests in 6 bright and comfortably sized bedrooms arranged over 3 floors as follows; Entrance Level Entry to the villa is through a large rustic door which opens into a substantial air-conditioned dining area with open-plan kitchen and small terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with everything necessary for a great family holiday. There are two steps down to a spacious living room with comfortable sofas and large TV offering over 300 international channels. There are beautiful wood framed patio doors that open out onto a delightful terrace overlooking the swimming pool and enjoying view across the rolling hills of the Garraf Natural Park, providing the perfect spot for watching the sun go down while sipping a cocktail. The living room also benefits from the air conditioning and there is a conveniently located toilet on this level. The dining area features a stunning Philippe Starck chandelier and has a large table comfortable for up to 12 people seating inside, along with the breakfast bar. Garden Level Steps down from the ground floor lead to a spacious high celing second living room with large and attractive patio doors opening out to the pool and garden area. Also on this floor are two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a conveniently located kitchenette that services the garden area. The kitchenette has a microwave, small fridge, sink and work surface. First Floor The top floor features a spacious Master Suite with large bathroom, a private terrace and a dressing room. In addition, there are two small double bedrooms and a triple bedroom with a double bed and single. There is a large bathroom which enjoys beautiful views over the surrounding hills. A fantastic 8.5m x 4.5m private swimming pool is surrounded by a sunny terrace complete with plenty of sun loungers and other seating. There is also a BBQ for outdoor cooking and ambient lighting around the pool and terrace help create a great atmosphere on those warm Mediterranean evenings. The kids will love the trampoline located behind the pool area and a full size Ping Pong table will keep everyone entertained for the whole holiday. Villa Balzar has off-street parking for one car and unlimited and free on-street parking at the front of the villa and no permits are required. OTHER INFORMATION Villa Balzar has A/C on the entrance level and the top floor as well in 3 bedrooms. Trampoline and ping pong to keep the children and adults alike entertained. WiFi fibre optic broadband The local tennis courts are located at the bottom of the hill and are free of charge to residents with access. Although a local bus and taxi service is available we do recommend hiring a car in order to fully enjoy the local amenities and attractions. Unfortunately, Villa Balzar is not suitable for wheelchair users.
