Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is spectacular, overlooking the Douro River. The owner is a wealth of local knowledge and welcomed us with a taste of port from their own vineyards. Breakfast was fantastic with their own local honey and sweet breads. The room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the river. The pool and grounds were designed with relaxation in mind. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Wish we had more time here. Would recommend to anyone interested in visiting the Douro Valley.
Negative: Nothing, I only wish we had stayed more nights. What a lovely place to relax. Would definitely stay here again.
