Positive: Beautiful home, right on the canal! A 10 minute walk from Cascata delle Marmore. The apartment is a 1-bedroom unit attached to the owners’ home. It’s cozy with a simple modern feel and has a private garden. The hosts met me with a warm welcome and me feel like a guest to their home, not just a traveler. They went out of their way to lend me a bike and gave me a head start on my travels the next day. I had a lovely time and would highly recommend!
Negative: There’s a train station in Marmore and a bus stop nearby, but if you aren’t up for the 1.5km walk or have mobility challenges, it may be a little difficult to get to. This is really the only possible downside I can think of—I loved my stay!
