Positive: Our stay at Raffaele's place was a highlight of our 2 week Italian adventure. His hospitality, welcome, and care of us throughout the stay was far beyond anything we have experienced anywhere else. We awoke every morning to great smells from the bakery below and looked forward to our pastries, which were included in the stay. One morning our son called in our order in Italian (using the prompts Raffaele left us) and we retrieved them by basket- the Napoli way! Such fun. One block away are stores and fabulous restaurants. It was in the center of town, but never noisy. The kitchen was well-supplied and decor of the apartment was lovely. There was plenty of room for our family of three adults. We really appreciated the washing machine. The apartment was centrally located to get to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum or Vesuvius. We brought a car, and parking was convenient in a nearby lot. We had all we needed and more for a wonderful stay. We just wish we could have stayed longer!
