Positive: We really loved our stay at Il Borgo. We stayed in the pool apartment and it was fabulous! There was some building work going on around us however once inside our apartment and garden it was easy to ignore this. The apartment was so clean and well equipped. We were able to cook meals, it has a dishwasher a huge fridge/freezer and even a washing machine if needed. Having the two garden areas was great as had a place to eat dinner or hang washing and another area with the pool for relaxing. It felt very secure and safe and was nice and quiet in the area at night time. Every night we walked into marzamemi with two young children (9 and 6) and it was an easy walk passing by the beaches. We had a hire car and it was really easy to park outside the front of the apartment. The location was great as we could walk to lovely beaches and into marzamemi. We were also able to easily access the main roads and visited Syracuse, Modica, Etna, Noto and the lovely nature reserve. Laura and Vincenzo were so helpful and easy to contact as Laura would respond really quickly about anything we needed. Our kettle broke and within minutes of messaging Laura, Vincenzo came over to replace. We can’t thank you enough for making our stay perfect as it felt like our own home during the holiday and we would love to return one day!
