If you are looking for rustic charm and authenticity, this beautiful villa will not disappoint. This wonderful 200-year-old country house is a short stroll away from the centre of Moncarapacho, a traditional Portuguese village left untouched thus far by tourism.
The villa has been passed on from generation to generation and has been sympathetically renovated over the years, restoring it to a fantastic standard. You will appreciate all of the modern facilities, whilst also taking in the carefully preserved character of the house with its original features.
Conveniently located just 25km from Faro airport, it won’t be long until you will be relaxing around the pool terrace with your friends and family, enjoying the surrounding views of the countryside and small villages prominent in this area of the Algarve. The local parish Church dominates the village centre, where you will find the church square and inviting local cafes. Perhaps stop here for a refreshment on your walk to the local fish and vegetable market? Plenty of other amenities that will certainly get you by on your first few days at the villa are very close by, including a petrol station, restaurants, bank, cafes, pharmacy, post office, grocery store and a bakery all within five minutes walking distance.
You can experience the true taste of Portugal even within this village alone, with traditional family run restaurants offering local seafood and “steak on the stone”, a brilliant experience where you can cook your choice of meat on a hot stone to your preference, right in front of you.
