Summary: Our stay at the Pine Cove cabin was relaxing and a perfect way to end the year. The cabin welcomes you with a huge deck with chairs to sit on, on both the lower and upper levels. Check in was easy with the code provided. Once inside you’re greeted by the spacious living area that opens up into the dining room and kitchen. There’s windows all around that let you look outside at all the trees and nature. We slept in the main bedroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. I am 7 months pregnant and usually toss and turn throughout the night but I slept through both nights in that bed. The bathroom is a good size with a standup shower. There was plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and towels available. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans and basic seasonings. It was definitely like being in a home away from home. We visited Idyllwild and it’s a quick 8-10 minute drive into town. When driving up the property the driveway can be a little intimidating but once you get up there it’s no biggie. You also have to climb a few flights of steps to make it to the front door. But besides that there wasn’t anything else that you want to be aware of before arriving.
