This Southland log home has been beautifully decorated with thoughtful finishings to provide an unforgettable experience. The home emanates quintessential lake cabin vibes with the beautiful pine throughout the home. From the open concept living area and kitchen specially designed for this property, the large A-frame windows providing a striking view, to the gorgeous outdoor living spaces - memories are waiting to be made! The cabin has been outfitted with comfort, style, and quality in mind. Enter into the open concept living area from the front door where you will find a beautiful dining table with space for 6. The open kitchen area, with all the necessary amenities, includes countertop seating for another 4. The beautiful living room features a sectional and a large TV for inside entertainment. Enjoy a glass of wine at the cocktail seating just behind the main living room. Move to the master bedroom where you will find a large queen bed with luxurious bedding, private access to the back deck, a brand new wall-mounted TV, and a beautiful newly renovated master on-suite bathroom. This is perfect to enjoy downtime and wake up to the picturesque water views. On the other side, a thoughtfully decorated guest bedroom features the same high-end queen bed and bedding, private back deck access, and new wall-mounted TV. The final bedroom includes 2 bunk beds to sleep 4, perfect for kids or anyone else adventurous enough to climb up top. Additional features include a double-slip boat dock with a boat rental option, fire pit area, two-car garage, kayak, a grill, all the major streaming platforms for inside entertainment, games for the whole family, and more. Relax inside the beautiful cabin, enjoy a cup of coffee on the back deck, spend the day on the water, swim around the dock, and explore the lake. Guest access Guest have private access to the entire property, including the dock and fire pit area. We want you to feel at home and to have a sense of privacy during your lake experience. Other things to note Optional Boat Rental: We partner with Hyco Boat Rentals and they have pontoon boats available for rent. We have negotiated a special discount with them that we pass along to our guests. The boats come with lifejackets. Let us know if you are interested and we will help coordinate/provide more information if there is availability. Boat renters should have previous boating experience and will receive an orientation and safety lesson from the team. Often times the boat can be delivered and picked up directly from the dock! Amtrak runs to Danville, VA 30 minutes away but you definitely should have a car while staying at Hyco. You can also travel the lake by boat to pick up food and bait at the Marina! Trash pickup is on Monday and the lawn team comes once a week Use of any water toys and the lake is at the guests' own risk and discretion. Quiet time is between 10 pm and 6 am. Please do not play outside music and keep noise to a minimum in order to respect our neighbors.
