Positive: The views from the large windows in the apartment from the living area, bathroom & bedroom were spectacular. We could have spent all day there just looking at the water & the mountains. There is a fabulous large private terrace/balcony. Inside it was warm & cosy with great heating & a super log burner too. It's a perfectly located property just a short drive from Tromso and it has the best supermarket Eide Handel nearby. The apartment has everything you need for self catering & the kindest hosts. Hakoya is a tranquil & beautiful place with low levels of light pollution and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights one night just a few minutes walk from the apartment. We drove to Sommaroy one day (one hour away) after our hosts recommended it and the drive there was stunning. We hope to come back one day! Thank you again Christel & Stig for a perfect stay - tusen tusen takk!
