Summary:
Heart of the Mission. 6 blocks from Castro & 4 from Hayes Valley, this large 2 bed 2 bath, top floor unit has loads of natural light. Views of Twin Peaks & Sutro Tower from Living Room. There’s a nice deck patio to enjoy breakfast or dinner. Parking out front is easy, or you can park a block away for $20 daily.
Hundreds of restaurants, bars and Dolores Park within blocks. Great place to spend some time in SF. We're a small family who travels frequently and prefers to share our home while away.
The Space:
Two large bedrooms, one room has a private bathroom. The other bathroom is near the living room. Both rooms have a queen size bed, the living room has two large sofas and we store a blow up mattress here as well if eight people need to stay. Six people fit comfortably, but eight can be managed.
Back yard has a BBQ and we have a deck with views of Sutro Tower and Twin Peaks.

The Neighborhood:
The Mission is a great neighborhood, full of restaurants, bars, parks and the flattest area in SF. Our property is close to 16th and Valencia which can be a little noisy, but luckily on our street we don't get too much noise or foot traffic, especially on the top floor. We recommend visiting Dolores Park, Bernal Heights, Corona Heights. You can basically walk anywhere in the city from our flat. Extremely central SF. Please keep in mind that San Francisco has a large population of mentally ill homeless people, so sometimes you will encounter a encampment in the area, but they are not violent and keep to themselves. The area is very safe, we raise children here along with our neighbors.
Getting Around:
Bus stops and Metro is 1 block away, you can walk almost anywhere in the city within 40 minutes. $20 daily parking is just a block away on 16th st & Hoff St. There is also a parking lot on 17th & Valencia (1.5 blocks away). We can help you buy a temporary parking pass from the city to avoid the 2 hour street parking limit. Otherwise 2 hour parking is available all around our street.
Other Things to Note:
Brand new double pane windows (sound proof upgrades) throughout unit. Although we are in a side small street, occasional noise can be heard.
