Step into a 6-bedroom, 4 full bathroom, and 2 half bathroom Andalusian villa that transports you to the south of Spain. Built in 1925 as the personal residence of Joseph W. Young, founder of Hollywood by the Sea, this 23-room Spanish Moorish architectural masterpiece was designed by prominent Indianapolis architects Rubush and Hunter, with guidance from Young’s friend, famed architect Addison Mizner.

Please note, the property is over 100 years old, and while we continue to renovate and refresh the space, you may notice some stains and paint issues. The doors are a bit old and might not be able to fully close them. The owner resides inside the property, keep in mind this is a shared space.
The mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Florida State Heritage Register, has hosted numerous special events, including the weddings of two of Mr. Young’s sons. In addition to building the City of Hollywood, Young also developed Port Everglades and served as Hollywood’s first mayor. This home’s rich history and timeless elegance make it an extraordinary venue for any occasion.
HOST WORKING HOURS AND CHECK-IN TIME: 4 PM-10 AM
RESERVATION POLICIES:
1 - Door codes are always shared at 4 PM. The check-in time frame is from 4 PM-11 AM, anytime after that would be considered a violation of our rules, this timeframe allows us to help if needed during our working hours(4 PM-11 AM).
2 - Early check-in, Late check-out, and Early bag drop are subject to availability
5 - All complaints must be notified after 30 mins of check-in.
6 - All departures must be reported immediately in a very clear way to us after for calendar availability to others and issue resolution for you, it is recommended to send an alteration request if needed, this helps you to get the unspent nights back while we get the calendar available again, we can then check the spent nights.
7 - All reservation changes must be done before the checkout time each day (10 AM), changes can not be done after 10 AM as per the app configuration, we can not override this.
8 - If you need an early departure, please submit an alteration request so it can easily be approved.
9 - No courtesy refunds are provided.
10 - If you happen to request a full refund for any circumstance please be ready for Immediate check-out, be sure to alternate the reservation for an early departure so we can approve the unspent nights that were supposed to be non-refundable, so we then might consider another courtesy for the spent night if applicable.
12 - If you want me to coordinate any amenities, please let me know 24 hours in advance (4 PM-12 AM) so my team can deliver or resolve on-site the next day.
13 - Extra cleanings in case of Issues or courtesies should be arranged 24 hours in advance and before 10 AM each day.
13 - CITY PENALTIES: The guest will bear full responsibility for any city-imposed penalties directly related to their stay, if applicable, plus any damages and a 20% extra of the total as compensation to the host, these additional 20% will be allocated toward a neighborhood compensation plan.

- VERY IMPORTANT- Garbage must be taken out on Mondays and Wednesdays at night (one day before collection). Bins have to be placed back behind the fence. City will place a 200$ violation fee if left outside.
Check-in is any time after 4 PM.
Check-out is at 10 AM. Please note that a late Check-out without authorization will lead to a night-rate cost penalty.
Parties are fully prohibited. QUIET TIME FROM 10 PM TO 6 AM.
$300 penalty for smoking on the property. You will also be dismissed from your rental without a refund.
$250 penalty if noise level, parties, or other obscene behavior requires a police callout. You will also be dismissed from the property without a refund.
$100 Penalty for leaving trash outside the entrance to your property. Once your trash cans are full, please deposit trash in the large trash cans located at the building entrance.
$200 fine for leaving the Kayaks on the pool. Kindly return them to the designated place.
Please do not throw trash or paper towels or toilet paper in the toilet to avoid clogging. Please use the trash can :)
Damage to the interior of the property or common areas will result in a pro-rated auto-chargeback from your booking account
On checkout please turn off the lights, the A/C unit, water, and gas/stove, and lock the door behind you
