Lake and Mountain Views! This large 4-bedroom 6-bath mountain retreat near Lake Arrowhead boasts more than 3,700 sq ft of living space across four floors. Along with walls of windows that offer expansive mountain and lake views, there are 3 levels of porches that are comfortable outdoor spaces for you to truly enjoy mountain living. The location and space, including a game room, make this mountain retreat perfect for large groups and families.
The main floor has a sitting area with a gas fireplace, TV and lots of comfortable seating that are perfect for cozying up on with a blanket. The open plan dining/kitchen space offers a large dining table and additional countertop seating. Dinner can be prepared on the gas BBQ just outside the dining room or at the counter in front of large windows that provide optimal squirrel watching. On this floor is also found a half bath with a full laundry. This floor is adjacent to the upper main parking.
The middle floor is made up of three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a large queen bed and huge windows overlooking the mountains with direct access to the outdoor porch. The bedroom is across the hall from a full bathroom with a large, jetted tub and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 has a wall of windows that allows for perfect mountain views from the comfort of a queen bed the ensuite full bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a large window with a window seat that is perfect for reading in the afternoon sun.
The top floor entertainment living space is framed by a tall, beamed ceiling. The sitting area has a gas fireplace, TV and couches. Additionally, there is a bar with a minifridge, half bath, and a card game table. Windows line both sides of the room and display the best the mountains have to offer. A large porch with outdoor furniture makes for optimal viewing of Lake Arrowhead and is the best place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Just off the sitting area is the large Master Suite which has a tall, beamed ceiling, king bed, full bathroom, and a designated workspace. The large windows from the master suite offer endless mountain views.
The bottom floor game room is a great kid hangout space. There is a large screen TV, foosball, air hockey, and board games. Additionally, there is a twin-to-king day bed for extra sleeping and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The game room has an outside door to easily access the flight of stairs down to the lower parking.
The house is heated on all 4 floors, with additional space heaters in drafty areas, and with a/c on the top floor only. In the summer, like most homes in the mountains, the windows can be opened to allow for a nice breeze to keep the house cool on the hottest days.
The upper parking is accessed via a narrow road that is not plowed of snow, depending on your vehicle, it might be inaccessible during an ice or significant snowstorm. Winter storms can happen so be sure to monitor the type of weather that is expected during your visit. Be prepared when visiting the mountains.
