Our Beautiful home can accommodate a large group of friends and family comfortably. It has 7 bedrooms plus a loft which easily accommodates 20 plus people for sleeping. There is also extra mats and tons of space for more sleeping arrangements for children. There are 4 1/2 bathrooms which include 3 tubs (over-size jet tub in M bedroom) and 4 showers. Although, the home is over 5000 sq ft., it feels very cozy. It has 3 stories, and there are wonderful lake views from every level. There are 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor. These include the master which has a king bed and a private bathroom with a shower and a separate jet tub. The other 2 bedrooms both have double beds and great views of the lake. There is also a loft with a TV which has one twin bed plus one twin trundle bed. There is a full bathroom on this floor with a shower/tub. The main floor has one bedroom which has a double bed, and it is located directly across from a 1/2 bath. There is also a single couch bed on the master floor as well. There is a wing over the garage off the main floor which has two large bedrooms that share another full bathroom with a shower/tub. One bedroom has a king bed plus a twin bed, and the other bedroom has a king bed plus a single couch bed. The bottom floor has one more bedroom with a king bed and a bunk bed. There is a bathroom located across that has a shower. The main floor has a kitchen, dining room, and a cozy living room with unbelievable views of the lake. It also has a terrific deck off the living room with a comfortable patio set that is great for coffee in the mornings, cocktails in the afternoons, and dinner in the evenings. The deck off this floor gives access to the front door as well as stairs down to the grass and playground, and the second deck which accommodates large parties for dining and BBQ with access to the lake and boat dock as well. The main floor also has the laundry room for convenience. The downstairs has a terrific bar with a large counter and sink. There is a second full size refrigerator/freezer located by the BBQ. The bar is located in a huge game room which has a beautiful pool table, Foosball, and Jukebox. There is a sliding glass door with large windows for great lake views and access to the lake, fenced in yard with artificial turf, playground and boat dock. There is access from the front of the house directly to the bottom level without going through the main floor. On this floor is one bedroom with a king bed and a bunk bed. There is also a bathroom with a shower. The private boat dock can accommodate 2 boats OR 2 party barges plus it has a jet ski ramp The lake side has a yard with a private playground and a sandy beach for children to play most times of the year (depending on the water level). There is outside seating for large parties to dine and BBQ. There are 2 brand new grills very easy to use and quite large. There is an upstairs deck off the main floor, a large deck off the bottom floor and one more small round deck very close to the water with a wonderful patio set under a Gazebo that feels as if your practically on the water. Our cabin will include many non-motorized water toys such as a paddle boat, 2-two person kayaks, 2 canoes, 2 paddle boards, sand toys, and much more. In addition to our fully stocked home with just about anything you will need for your comfortable yet luxurious stay, we include linens, towels, bedding, toilet paper, paper towels, spices and much more. My wife and I custom built our home in 1996 with family gatherings in mind. There are so many places to sit and relax, gather and play games, enjoy meals as a large group or have an intimate cocktail or two. My grand children love to run around the grass playing tag and they spend hours swinging on the playground set and sliding down the slide. Not to mention building sand castles and throwing the tennis ball into the lake for our black lab. Our children now older, love the fact that they can take an easy walk to the Pines Village for a doughnut and coffee in the morning or a drink at the local bar at night without needing to drive. We love to sit on our deck and watch our family and friends enjoy everything from the boating and tubing, to jumping off the dock into the lake, swinging on the playground, the sounds of pool sticks and laughter, and music coming from our Juke box, we can see or hear it all just sitting on our deck enjoying the view and a cup of coffee. We have no doubt the one thing to be had at our Hillyard Lake House is not a good time but a GREAT TIME! The only thing you will need to bring is your family and maybe a few beach towels, and the only thing you will leave with is a smile on your face and a scrapbook full of amazing memories!!!
