Hoyts Landing is the perfect place for a couple or larger group to stay while enjoying the Moosehead Lake area. In winter you'll enjoy ITS 88 snowmobile access directly from the property. Squaw Mountain is open for downhill skiing or snowshoeing. There are ice fishing derbies throughout the winter as well. In summer, relax on our 120 foot boardwalk in the day or by an outside fire pit in the evening as the loons call. Perhaps you'll bring your boat or jet ski and dock in front of the Landing. Maybe kayaking or canoeing is more your speed. We are located at the mouth of Moose River and Moosehead Lake which is a great location for fishing. Mt. Kineo is nearby for golfing or hiking. The full kitchen is stocked with a full size refrigerator, stove and oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, utensils, pots, and pans. There is a queen bedroom for a couple's stay. Larger groups will have access to the other bedrooms - two queens and three double beds in a bunkroom. Linens are provided. A comfy living room offers couches and several chairs as well as a TV with cable, VCR, and DVD player. The bathroom is newly remodeled and towels are provided. An enclosed porch faces the river and is furnished. Wifi and a gas grill are available. Also, we are PET FRIENDLY for a small fee! PLEASE NOTE: Rates are lower for parties smaller than 11 guests. Contact us for special pricing. Smaller cottages are available during the summer sleeping 5 - 6 guests.
