Take yourself far, far away to this fantastic tropical escape with white-sand beaches and warm turquoise water. Located at dramatic Mudjin Harbour on Middle Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands, this secluded location is a delight for the nature enthusiast, photographer, birder, sun worshiper, and all-around sojourner. You will delight in the privacy and unspoiled natural setting that makes you feel truly a part of the beautiful Turks & Caicos.
What far away fairy tale would be complete without a dragon, a cave and a hidden beach? Stroll the path/road to the exceptional Dragon Cay, the most distinctive feature in Mudjin Harbour, a natural rock formation that shelters an exhilarating swimming area. Just beyond the Mudjin Bar & Grill Restaurant there is a stone path to a stair that descends to a hidden beach. For the adventurist, the path continues to the Crossing Place trail which meanders along the oceanside cliffs to the Blowing Hole. Indian Cave is a national historic site that was home to indigenous Lucayan Indians.
Newly built in 2017, this attractive villa is appointed with solid teak furniture, well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, two air-conditioned bedrooms with comfy queen beds and private bathrooms, open living-dining with TV with DVD collection, and two outdoor decks with ample teak sun chairs.
Your adventure starts when you leave the international airport in Providenciales, nicknamed "Provo". Your taxi driver will make an excursion to the IGA supermarket and wait while you pick up supplies. Here, you'll find everything you need for your full stay at Far Away Villa, so fill your cart before you set forth on adventure! After you leave the IGA, your driver will take you to the Caribbean Cruisin' walk-on ferry. Keep an eye on the time to make sure you arrive at the ferry landing on time.
The ferry ride gives you a lovely view of the cays and channels between Provo to North Caicos where you will meet your next taxi driver at the landing. Mudjin Harbour is another 35 minutes drive, turn in at the Blue Horizon sign.
You will find convenience stores 20 minutes away in North Caicos where you can pick up a few items for you stay. They carry a selection of fresh and canned grocery items. For additional convenience you may choose to rent a car. Reservations for a rental car are required. Turks and Caicos is an off-shore British territory and driving is on the left.
