3 Bedroom House in Thornton
This Waterville Estates mountain house is our family’s happy place and we hope it can be yours as well. It is a bright recently updated home on the side of a woodsy hill in the white mountains. Trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and advanced cross country skiing pass by the backyard. A recreation center with 2 indoors pools and 2 outdoor pools is just on the other side of the hill and a short walk down the trail - and a two minute drive. Campton mountain nearby as well.
Guests have full house access. First floor has three bedrooms and bathroom- two of the bedrooms have queen size beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed where each bed is a double. One of the bed rooms has a standing desk for remote working and two of the bedrooms have roku TVs.
Second floor is open plan with a kitchen, living room (65 inch tv), and wood stove- decks coming off front and back. Large windows on both ends of the house allow you to enjoy woodsy views up in the trees. In winter months you can look through the trees and see the silhouette of the mountains. One deck comes off the back of house and another deck comes off the front. Patio furniture on the decks!
Stairs to back deck and 2nd floor front and back decks closed in the winter months (Nov-April). They are not maintained so should only be used in emergency.
Third floor is an open loft with another queen size bed and full bath, as well as a standing desk and chair for remote work.
The walking path in woods behind the place will take you in 5 minutes to Waterville Estates community center and Campton mountain is a short distance away as well.
Two adult guest passes are provided for free entry to community center. Children 7 and under free. Additional guests are $10 per say during week and $20 per day on weekends.
Rec center has gym, saunas, and two outdoor and two indoor pools. Also, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Beautiful pond for swimming with beach for sand castles.
House sleeps up to 8 guests altogether. Dog friendly with an additional fee for dog.
Thanks for considering staying at our house- it is our “happy place” so we have some house rules to make sure it is a good fit. We love dogs and are open to considering you bringing your dog. No cats, sorry. If you do bring your dog, we require a phone call with guests to discuss additional fees and suitability of house for your dog.
NO PARTIES. Guests are required to let us know if anyone in addition to guests will be in the house.
For your security, the house has three outdoor security cameras. Two are near the front entrance, one points to the back deck stairs.
