Black Mountain Beach is not suitable for children because you have to swim in the crystal-clear, super-clean sea water after just a few meters. The top beach for children is Lampes or Finikibeach, 5 km away, where you can gently go into the sea on fine sand. At both ends of the season there are beach bars with loungers and parasols and there is even a swimming pool at Destinou. In November, 2019 the sea was still 23 degrees warm with 30 degrees in the sun, the olive harvest begins.
