Our house is located in Terre-de-Haut in the archipelago of Saintes (Guadeloupe) Elected 3rd most beautiful village in France 2019!
The feet in the water on the beach of the typical district of Fond du Curé, it is also close to all amenities (pier, mini markets, bakery, post office, restaurants, shops, dispensary ...) No need to rent a vehicle for your shopping or to go to the beach, everything is on site.
A few steps from the house, on the beach, you can enjoy the excellent Creole cuisine of restaurants like The Triangle (our canteen) and A Ti Bo Doudou.
The house is new, it is an area of 90m2 duplex with a terrace on the sea of 30m2 where you spend all your days and evenings quiet in front of the breathtaking spectacle of the Bay of Saintes. In the morning at breakfast time you can attend the arrival of fishermen with their escort of pelicans, the evening at the time of the aperitif you will be in the front row to admire the most beautiful sunsets on the bay and at all times of the day you will dive into the crystal clear waters of the white sand beach.
The proximity of the sea ensures a very pleasant coolness in the evening and the 2 coconut trees that line the terrace offers shade when you eat or take a nap in the double hammock.
The terrace is equipped with a shower, practical after a swim in the sea, as well as a garden table with 4 chairs, 2 sunbeds and a barbecue.
The house is both Creole and modern and is spacious and airy thanks to numerous openings including 2 bay windows.
The ground floor consists of:
- A large kitchen with induction hob, extractor hood, electric oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker and coffee maker Dolce Gusto, toaster, blinder, electric citrus juicer, cookware complete including a pressure cooker, dishes varied and provided, many utensils.
From a large teak table with extension and 6 chairs (the table can be moved on the terrace). The kitchen is lit by a large bay window overlooking the street and its animation typical of the life of the small village of Terre-de-Haut.
- A bathroom with window consisting of a shower (hot water by solar water heater) double basins, a washing machine and separate toilet.
A spacious and bright living room overlooking the terrace with beautiful sea views, equipped with a large modular sofa, coffee table, a wall fan will ensure freshness if you decide to stay indoors because I you repeat it you will spend your time on the terrace and the beach!
Upstairs :
- 2 attic rooms and spacious (14m2 and 18m2) one side street overlooking the village and the second sea side. It reigns a soft and exotic atmosphere. Each room with wooden floor is equipped with a comfortable double bed 160 cm, a vanity unit with shelf and mirror with LED lighting, a closet with shelves and hangers and air conditioning. You also have a cot with sheets. The nights are calm, double glazed windows and air conditioning will protect you from mosquitoes and heat.
All equipment is new.
The linen is provided (towels, sheets, tea towels)
